The biggest issue was painfully clear – outdated, clunky websites that failed to inspire trust or communicate their product vision. Many of these startups had strong ideas but weak visual execution, making it harder for them to fundraise or gain traction in their markets
Complicating things further, most teams lacked internal marketing or design support, meaning I had to quickly step into a strategic role, defining not just design, but positioning, messaging, and user flows – all within a very tight timeline
I approached each project by stripping everything down to the essentials: what message would move their audience in the first 5 seconds? From there, I rebuilt each website with clear structures, sharp copy, minimalist UX, and lightweight motion to create a modern, professional presence
Within days of delivering the prototypes, two of the founders reached out expressing interest in real collaboration — validating that fast, strategic design can open important business conversations long before a "perfect" final version is even needed
Next projects.
